the process

Each piece of Kefi jewelry is designed and handcrafted by me in New York City. Drawing on my heritage, travels, and the textures I notice in daily life, I create sculptural jewelry that invites curiosity and presence.

Every design begins at the bench. I shape surfaces, refine edges, and adjust proportions until each piece feels just right. The work is intentional, textured, and made to be discovered.

Kέφι is a Greek word that expresses the joy felt when fully experiencing the present moment. It's the spirit behind every piece.

I collaborate with a family-owned casting company and a master stone setter in New York City's Diamond District, where craft is still passed from hand to hand and mastery is built over lifetimes.

From preserved natural textures to hand-finished surfaces, every detail is shaped with intention. The result is jewelry that feels distinct, grounded, and made to last.

the spark

I started making jewelry as a kid. I had what I called my bead table, set up with materials and findings that I would return to every day. It was all about creativity and play.

In college, I began selling beaded work, but I didn't love the commercial findings I was using. That led me to learn metalworking so I could create my own components.

The more I learned, the more ideas came to me, and the more I was inspired. The first time I shaped a piece of metal at a jewelry bench was the moment Kefi truly began.

• Fully Authored in New York City: Every piece is designed, developed, and finished by me at my bench in NYC. From the first sketch to the final polish, the work carries my perspective and hand.

• Precious Metals Only: I work exclusively in sterling silver, gold vermeil, and 14k gold. No plating, no base metals. The material matches the value of the design.

• Preserved Natural Texture: Select pieces begin as molds of found objects—sea urchin shells, organic forms—so their true surface can be celebrated. Texture is central to the design language.

• Collaboration with Master Craftspeople: I partner with a family-owned casting company and a master stone setter in New York City's Diamond District, where craft is still passed from hand to hand.

• Made to Last: Each piece comes with a lifetime warranty for repairs. This is jewelry designed to be kept, worn, and passed down.
